Jane E. Tierney is founder and CEO of Supply Chain Innovations, Inc., developing new strategies and tools to help companies better utilize their supply chains to improve their bottom line. A recognized thought leader in Supplier Management, she combines academic concepts with practical experience to help clients improve efficiency, increase productivity and work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Jane is a Supply Chain professional with experience in all functions of supply chain management, across a variety of industries including high tech, defense/aerospace, commercial manufacturing and consulting. In addition to her consulting practice, she utilizes her knowledge and experience conducting seminars and workshops across the country, and teaches at both California State University - Fullerton and California State University – Northridge.
Her activities include: Chairperson for the Institute of Supply Management’s (ISM) Supplier Management Group, Executive Vice President for ISM-Los Angeles and President of Westlake Village chapter of National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). Jane has degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from San Diego State University. She is a Certified Professional in both Supply Management (CPSM) and Supplier Diversity (CPSD) and holds a Green Belt from the University of Michigan.
